Tybo has started construction on the Cariboo Rd Overpass and Gaglardi way Interchange. The $9,000,000 project was awarded to Tybo by the Transportation Investment Corp and is part of the Port Mann Highway 1 (PMH1) project. The project consist of replacement of the existing 2 lane Cariboo overpass with a new 4 lane structure complete with MSE walls, concrete abutments and both concrete and steel girders.

In addition, a new off ramp will be constructed that will allow commuters to access Gaglardi way off of Highway #1, reducing congestion on adjacent routes and shaving valuable time off people’s daily commute.

Tybo was chosen for this project based on its track record of managing similar intricate projects. There are many challenges on this project including managing multiple stake holders and maintaining high traffic volumes throughout the duration of the project.
